The Digital Security Act 2018, adopted in October 2018 by the Bangladesh Government, has become a threat to the freedom of opinion, freedom of expression and freedom of press, and a tool for muzzling dissenting voices. This website documents the cases filed under the DSA 2018 since 1 January 2020, provides perspectives of various stakeholders about the DSA, nature and scope of the use of the law and its implications for freedom of expression and democracy.
